ABOUT US
Rococo Productions is a creative house that draws from a collection of young designers, directors, artists, musicians/composers and actors. The focus of the company is within audio, visual directing and event management.
Structurally, having produced a plan from an initial brief, we creatively direct the concept, realise the product, prepare for presentation, and organise the final exhibition.
Our aim is for every product to display an attention to detail that is the direct result of an unfetterd creative process- from concept to realisation and presentation.
STRUCTURE
The structure of the collective lies somewhere between an Artist Run Initiative (ARI) and a production company propper. The directors of the group coordinate a chain of thought and action between the concept, production and presentation, be it the development, presentation and promotion of an exhibition or the sourcing of writers, actors, composers and designers for the production of our films.
PROGRAM
In 2007 we've mimiced the fashion world with 2 seasonal programs, for the production and promotional ease as well as the cognitive ease of the audience. The structure for the seasons is generally 1 major project, 2-3 minor projects and 1-2 parties or events. This allows for interest and growth through transition whilst helping to maintains momentum.
For Autumn/Winter 07 the program is a film, two exhibitions, and a giant game of Guess Who.
