Celluloid Pictures Are Living: ‘BABARET’ CABARET NIGHT
Thursday 23rd October – 8PM – Hermanns Bar
Hosted by Rococo Productions for Bambina BorrachaBRIEF:
Celluloid Pictures Of Living shines a new light on cabaret and Bambina Borracha’s ‘Babaret’ at Hermanns Bar (Darlington)-
Where every burning moment brings a new danger- where every kiss maybe the last. A five piece black and white drama- an astounding story- who is this man? He’s as fast on the draw as he is in the drawing room. The most ruthless lover you’ve ever met. With the most exciting woman he’s ever met. He’s got a job to do- where he’s going she can’t follow- what he’s got to do she can’t be any part of- someday she’ll understand that. Such amazing adventures- such strange drama! It’s a masterpiece of Mystery.
Picture Mickey Mouse’s Showboat Willy, Jack Warner and Humphrey Bogart- throw out your coloured pencils and return with us to a time when cabaret meant walking the broad home not just walking the boards.
